Escrow & Compliance Policies

Transparent, secure, and production-grade contract terms governing the KanemTrade Influencer Hub.

1. Secure Escrow Holdings

All campaign contract payouts are pre-funded inside our central platform Escrow vaults before content production or active work commences. Regular Customers and Merchants (Sellers) pay the full proposed campaign rate plus the platform merchant collection fee. Funds are held in a secure, audited held escrow state and cannot be recalled or withdrawn unilaterally.

2. Delivery Windows (SLAs)

Verified creators are bound by the precise terms and delivery windows submitted during the negotiation proposal phase. Content draft previews must be submitted inside the split negotiation stream within the agreed timeline. Failure to submit within the delivery window entitles the Brand (Customer/Seller) to request dispute audits from platform administrators.

3. Escrow Releases & Platform Collection Fees

Upon verified delivery of campaign assets, the Brand triggers the [Release Escrow / Complete Campaign] action. This immediately transfers the net campaign rate (campaign rate minus creator collection fee) from the creator's held escrow balance to their available withdrawable balance. Our commission configurations are defined as:

Merchant Commission: 5% of proposed campaign value.
Creator Commission: 5% of proposed campaign value.
Maximum mathematical cap limit: 15,000 NGN. Fees do not scale infinitely on high-budget campaigns.

4. Dual Rating & Feedback Review

Upon campaign completion, both the brand (customer/seller) and the creator have a right to leave ratings (1-5 stars) and textual reviews describing their experience. Feedback averages are aggregated and published directly inside the verified directory to build credential transparency. Reviews containing abusive, non-compliant, or advertising text will be deleted under administrator audits.

5. Compliance & Dispute Auditing

In the event of delivery delays, poor performance, or failure to fulfill agreed deliverables, either party can request a compliance audit. Platform administrators review chat streams, counter-offer logs, pre-funded escrow details, and media assets. Admin determinations are absolute and final.
